At first, what was this story, Gummy Bears That Fight Plague, all about? After reading, I see that gummy bears contains a sugar that helps in the fight against tooth decay.
The tooth-protecting sugar substitute xylitol has been incorporated into gummy bears to produce a sweet snack that may prevent dental problems.

Gummy Bears
But alas, you are only need to give your children 3-4 bears 3 times per day. I do have to say, gummy bears are really good. Yummy!
I wonder what would happen if you had more than 12 per day?

Thomas Sowell has posted another piece, Are Facts Obsolete? at Townhall.com today. It is a piece that deserves to be read in understanding what Democratic nominee Barack Obama is doing in discussing the issues.
I have wonder where he stands on the issues since all he has talked to this point is about “change”. I keep asking myself what does he mean by “change”. Mr Sowell seems to echo my feelings on the “change” message:
As the hypnotic mantra of “change” is repeated endlessly, few people even raise the question of whether what few specifics we hear represent any real change, much less a change for the better.

I recently obtained the latest Dark Horse Tradeback in the Star Wars universe, Legacy – Claws of the Dragon.

Check my website to see what I am reading, have read, or will be reading in the Star Wars Universe at my website.
Update 12 July 2008:
Cade Skywalker is walking a dangerous path between the light and the dark side of the Force. Trying to free a Jedi from the Sith Emperor, Cade knows is walking into a trap. But, he claims that no one will die for him again. Could this be his downfall?
But, another person is walking a fine line as well, Cade’s mother. Where does her loyalties lie? With the Moffs and the Empire or with her son?
There are surprises in this volume as we learn who Darth Krayt is and how he came to be the leader of the Sith. Will balance return between the light and dark?

Per LiveScience.com [Yahoo] article, Eight New Natural Wonder were announced to the World Heritage List today. From the article,
World Heritage Sites are named by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The sites, both cultural and natural, added to the list are deemed “of outstanding value to humanity” and deserve protection and preservation, according to the UNESCO Web site.
Here are the sites named to the list:
Check out some of these pictures of these sites. Some very beautiful pictures of nature. Despite what the MSM says what man has done to environment, mother nature surprises us. Here is shot from the Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve from Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary Foundation website:

Well, a reunion of sorts for one of my favorite groups, ABBA. According to Reuters, the ABBA foursome made a rare appearance together on July 4 for the premiere of Mamma Mia! The Movie in Stockholm. In the picture, from left to right are: ABBA’s Benny Andersson, Pierce Brosnan, Amanda Seyfried, Meryl Streep, Abba members Agnetha Faltskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, Christine Baranski, Colin Firth, screenwriter Catherine Johnson (pointing), director Phyllida Lloyd, producer Judy Craymer and ABBA member Bjorn Ulvaeus.
It was nice to see them together for the first time since 1986. Although I have not seen Mamma Mia! musical, I bet the Mamma Mia! The Movie will be good. It is set to premiere in the States on July 18. Although I do not expect to see the foursome at the American debut, but I hope the movie will be as good as the musical.
This group is one of my all time favorite groups. At one time they were number 2 in record sales to another famous group — The Beatles. Their European Pop brand of music made music enjoyable during the 1970s and 1980s. As I have stated in my posts of videos I have found on YouTube, they sure do not write songs like these anymore. Their unique voices and melodies have been hard to re-produce today. I was hoping that some time in the future they would do a full orchestra event in Stockholm to share again their music. But, according to Breitbart, it does not appear it will ever happen. But, you never know, it could happen privately.
