Review 28 January 2008:
Scholastic, INC introduces a new Star Wars series, Rebel Force, written by Alex Wheeler. In this series, we return to follow the original trio of the Star Wars universe, Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Han Solo. Of course, Chewbacca, C3-Po, and R2-D2 play a role in this series as well.
Following the destruction of the first Death Star, we follow our favorite group of Rebels on their next mission, to obtain codes to secret accounts that would help continue to finance the Alliance since the destruction of Leia’s home world, Alderaan. The journey has unexception twists and turns, as Luke struggles to grasp the Force.
Meanwhile, the Emperor has made it a priority to find the person who destroyed the Death Star. Enter in, a new assassin, X-7, who is set to rid of the enemies of the Empire upon the orders of Commander. Trained to be best, X-7 know he will find his man. Our trio does are not sure what to think of X-7, but allow him into the Alliance anyway.
In following the footsteps of Jude Watson, Mr Wheeler brings us more insight into our favorite Star Wars characters trying to bring peace back to the galaxy.
