You can place your bid here. All proceeds will go to Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation.

You have until Friday October 19 to obtain a little bit of history.

Let’s see if the senators will match the winning bid.

FoxNews has an article about the auctioning of “the letter”. Read it here.

Sunday morning… the bid stands over $40K.

Lot of bidding over the weekend so far. If those senators match the winning bid, it is a big win for a good cause.

Wednesday afternoon…. Well, it is officially over $100K. The current bid at 4:50 PM is $102,300.

If the senators were to match the winning bid at this moment, the charity will receive over $4 million dollars. Will this happen? Probably not.

Thursday evening… Well, Rush was right. The real bidding has begun. The current bid at 7:23 PM is $851,100.

Looks like a cool million might be the winning bid. Again, will those 41 democratic senators match it? NO WAY!

Friday…. Whoa! The real bidding has turned out to be real. The bid around Noon ET is just over $2.1 million!

I do not think that the democratic senators will match this bid.
