Memorial Lutheran Church Stain Glass Windows — Part 4

In this post, I will share information about the left and right center lancets of the Memorial Lutheran Church’s Chancel Window.

Memorial Lutheran Church Chancel Window - Center Lancets

In the center of the two outer lancets are the two sacraments of the Church. To the left Baptism is indicated by the dove of the Holy Spirit descending on a font below which are further ancient symbols of a fish, water, and an anchor. To the right, Communion is symbolized by a chalice surmounted by the Chi Rho monogram for Christ, grapes, a fish and three loaves of bread.

In the next post, I will share information about the remaining eight smaller openings.
