Detroit Red Wings advance to Stanley Cup Finals

Detroit Red Wings defeated the Dallas Stars, 4-1, to win the Campbell Bowl as the Western Conference Champions.  The Red Wings won the series, 4-2.  The Red Wings as the top team in the league will host the Pittsburgh Penguins for Game One of the Stanley Cup Finals on Saturday.

The Red Wings returned to form in game 6 and by scoring first set the tempo for the game.  As I stated yesterday, the Red Wings must have learned some things about Pittsburgh win over the Flyers.  They played their game, shot the puck on net, and got timely goals with supporting players. They will need to continue to play this way in the finals to win the cup again.

So, I was 1-1 in the conference finals.  My record is now 9-5.  The final will be difficult to pick.  So, check back later on these details.
